Chris Heger is a respected builder with over 30 years of experience in healthcare, biopharmaceutical, and large high-tech campuses. He has successfully utilized technology, business science and strong leadership skills to unify teams to repeatable produce predicted outcomes on projects. Chris’s deliberate practice in both the field and the office allows him to understand the factors that affect, schedule, cost, safety, and bring greater value to the customer through, entitlement, conceptual design, strategic planning, and execution.
Over the last twenty years Chris has focused on the application of technology and industrial engineering to the design and construction process. Through the application of these tools and skills he has been able to guide two major projects through the construction process at over two times the standard rate of installation rate and without cost or schedule overruns. As an owners representative Chris is driven to innovate across the entire program to see the industry from the owners perspective and improve productivity through disruption. Data analysis, probability, digital twin, robotic language, mathematics, motion study, photogrammetry, IOT, and Bayesian statistics are the areas that he is working on now to improve the built environment in the near-term. Chris is also passionate about teaching and sharing with the next generation and he lectures yearly at the UW and has traveled as far as India and the continental US teaching about LEAN Design and Construction.
